- NMAT (Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test) NMAT, conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), opens doors to various MBA programs at NMIMS and other esteemed institutions globally. Key highlights of NMAT include:
- Exam Structure: Comprising sections in Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning, with a 120-minute duration.
- Adaptive Test: The exam adjusts difficulty levels based on individual responses.
- Retake Policy: Candidates can retake the exam thrice within a given testing window.
NMAT also offers a Home Proctored Exam option, ideal for candidates residing in remote areas.

- XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) XAT, conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, is accepted by over 150+ B-schools. Key features of XAT are:
- Exam Structure: Online exam covering Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge.
- Duration: Typically 3 hours and 30 minutes, divided into two parts including multiple-choice questions , gk and an essay writing task.

- SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test)
SNAP, administered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), is another national-level entrance exam. Key aspects of SNAP include:
- Exam Structure: Computer-based test assessing aptitude in various areas such as General English, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs, within a 60-minute duration.
- Multiple Attempts: Candidates can take the SNAP exam multiple times, with the best attempt considered for final evaluation.
- Short Duration: One of the shortest exams, SNAP provides a quick assessment, preferred by many aspirants.
While there are other exams like SRCC-GBO, MICAT, and MAH-CET, among others, NMAT, XAT, and SNAP are highly recommended by me for those preparing for CAT-24. In case of unforeseen circumstances leading to a setback in CAT, these exams offer another opportunity to secure admission to top B-schools.
