The final placements in Indian B-Schools occur in November and December. While many students accept the PPOs from their summer experiences, more than half of the batch is placed during the final placements. This article summarizes the MDI Gurgaon Final Placement Report for the graduating batch 2024 and batch profile. The 2022-24 batch had students in 314 PGDM, 125 in PGDM-HRM, and 117 in PGDM IB.

MDI Gurgaon Placement Report 2024: Key Highlights

  1. A total of 155 companies recruited students across the three courses with 89 new companies visiting the campus.
  2. The highest salary is Rs.63.3 lakhs, a slight increase from the 2023 figure of 63 lakhs. 
  3. The average and median salary for the batch of 556 stood at Rs. 25.5 LPA and 24.2 LPA respectively. Both figures have dropped by 6% - 7% from the 2023 figures.
  4. 202 PPOs were offered to 556 students, about 36% of the batch. 
  5. 60 LPA+ was offered in Sales and Marketing, General Management  & Consulting, and IT.

The PGDM and IB batch had 314 and 125 students respectively placed at an average salary of Rs. 25 lacs per annum. The median CTC of the top 10% of the batch increased by 6%.

The number of recruiters for the human resources batch increased by 14%.  Danone and Meesho were first-time recruiters. The placement figures for HRM are comparatively lower than its PGDM and IB counterparts.
