NMAT Syllabus 2024: Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation Tips, and Best Books
The Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test (NMAT) is an annual MBA entrance exam conducted by GMAC for admission into NMIMS, Mumbai, and other B-Schools. The exam has three sections- Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning- and has 108 questions. It is a 2-hour computer-based exam. NMAT provides the candidates flexibility for the paper in the 70-day exam. Registration for NMAT 2024 started on 1st August 2024. NMAT SYLLABUS 2024
The syllabus for the NMAT Exam is designed by GMAC, which is the same authority that administers the GMAT. It is an adaptive test, that is, the level of difficulty increases/decreases according to the way you perform in the examination. NMAT 2024 Exam Pattern
The NMAT exam consists of MCQ-based Questions. It assigns +3 for every correct answer and there are no negative markings for wrong answers and unattempted questions. Section wise number of questions are given below:

Preparation Tips for NMAT 2024
- The topics under Quantitative Skills are similar to those with CAT and other OMETs. You will be able to prepare for it along with other management exams. Clearing basics, regular practice, and solving sample papers and mocks will be helpful.
- Language Skills and Logical Reasoning have different topics from CAT and XAT that require practice and fundamental preparation.
- The official guide by NMAT suggests at least a six-week preparation time for the exam. However, many students take it along with preparing for other MBA exams. NMAT is an easier exam than CAT and XAT once you work on the different topics included in this exam.
