General
A candidate, with at least 50% marks in his bachelor's degree/equivalent degree or higher or is in the final year of pursuing the same from a university or professional institution recognized by the Parliament or State legislature or Ministry of HRD, Government of India or is a Deemed University, can apply for CAT exam 2024.
SC, ST, and PwD
Any candidate, who secured more than 45% marks in his/her bachelor's degree/equivalent or professional degree or higher can apply for the CAT exam. Uploading a valid caste/class certificate during CAT 2024 registration is mandatory.
Final Year Students
A candidate in the final year of his graduation can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, would be given admission on a provisional basis only. The student must be able to produce his/her mark sheet or a written document stating that they have completed the minimum requirements by 31st December 2025.

CAT 2024 Exam Duration and Test Cities
The CAT 2024 will be conducted in 120 minutes, with 40 minutes allotted to each section. It will be conducted in 3 slots: Slot 1 (8.30 am to 10.30 am), Slot 2 (12.30 pm to 2.30 pm), and Slot 3 (4.30 pm to 6.30 pm) across 170 test cities listed on the official website.
