Mumbai: The evening of January 22nd saw the culmination of one of India’s biggest B-School Sports Festivals, SPRINT. An annual fixture on SPJIMR’s calendar, SPRINT has become one of those anticipated events on the circuit with widespread participation from across the nation. So what does it take to organise a fest of this magnitude spread over 72 gruelling hours? Let’s find out.
SIBM Bengaluru’s Annual Management and Cultural Fest – Revelation 2017 was conducted in all its splendour from the 20th to 22nd January 2017 at the SIBM Bengaluru Campus. Of the 9 management events of the Fest, the operations event was called ‘Opvorhuts’, which was formulated from the specialisation ‘Operations’ and the term ‘Vorhuts’, which means ‘Vanguard’. This is also in accordance with the theme of Revelation 2017 – ‘Vision of the Vanguards’.
On the morning of 22nd January 2017, as the sun rose, teams from 23 B-Schools from across India braced themselves for an ultimate test of their marketing acumen, wit and adaptability. Vanguards from IIM Trichy, Goa Institute of Management, SCMHRD Pune to name a few were all set to battle it out for Markquest – the marketing event of Revelation 2017 – the annual management and cultural fest of SIBM Bengaluru.
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi kicked off its annual management and cultural fest from 20th – 22nd January, 2017, with this year’s theme being ‘Enlighten, Empower, Evolve’. The campus witnessed a plethora of activities. From domain-specific management events to cultural activities, the fest had everything to offer. The event witnessed students from all over the country, who battled it out in the cold for the top prizes.
IIM Kozhikode, better known as “God’s Own Kampus”, is proud to present the biggest cultural extravaganza of the year, Echoes 2017 will be held from the 3rd to 5th of February, 2017. Over the years, Echoes, the national level annual cultural festival of IIM Kozhikode, has hosted exquisite performances from across the nation comprising of musical splendour, elegant choreography, glamorous fashion-fiesta and transcendent art.
With another year beckoning, the School of Human Resources Management & Labour Relations at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences is here again with the 21st edition of the annual management-cum-cultural extravaganza Manthan. As the name suggests, Manthan is the churning into the world of the known & the unknown from the lucid to the ambiguous.
You must have met the archetypal quizzer. The one whose eyes light up with sheer joy when (s)he works out a question; who can come up with seemingly obscure facts and make it sound like perfectly common knowledge. It’s easy to spot a quizzer in a group as the one who makes a pop culture reference and high-fives a friend who has absolutely no idea what the reference was about.
