After a thrilling start on Day 1, Star Sports Sangharsh 2017, the annual sporting competition between the 4 major IIMs, did not disappoint the least on what was an even more exhilarating Day 2. While the race for the overall championships is still raging between all 4 teams, some of the athletes have already drawn first blood, and tasted the sweetness of gold.
After much wait and months of preparations, Star Sports Sangharsh 2017 was today declared open by Prof. Rajesh Bhattacharya, IIM Calcutta. The annual sports competition between the 4 major IIMs is held by each on rotational basis, and this year, it is IIM Calcutta’s turn to host what is the biggest edition of Sangharsh ever witnessed, with over 650 athletes competing for the glory of their colleges. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Suyash Jadhav, Indian Para Swimmer and Vaidehi Vaidya, founder Woman in Sport.

Probably this one line is the best summary for the quizzing extravaganza that is Nihilanth. Every year, quizzing enthusiasts from across the IITs-IIMs descend on one of the hallowed campuses for a 3-day festival, whose scale and quality is unmatched. The crème-de-la-crème of the IIT-IIM environment engage in a battle of wits that is a spectacle, to say the least.

RUSH is into its second year and it is going to be the biggest event of IIM Ranchi till date. Not only the organisers in the backstage but each and every student of IIM Ranchi will share the vibe that is about to go contagious as the event unfolds six days hence. The theme this year is Marvel Vs DC - On this day you'll believe a man can fly...!!!
