If I had to describe it in one word, my journey as Mercur-I secretary has been revealing. But fortunately I don't have to sum up this fantastic journey yet. It's a name that precedes its presence. Being one of the biggest brands ever created in IIM Indore, Mercur-I is becoming larger and better, a true representation of the institute. Beginning in '03, this club has grown on to become every budding marketer's destination at Planet I.
As the quote by Michael Jordan states “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen and others Make It Happen".

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Bengaluru saw an evening where history was repeated all over again. It was the 6th edition of Samaagam, the Annual Alumni Meet, which was held this Saturday, 10th of September 2016. The theme for this year’s Samaagam was ‘Rewind, Relive’ and over 160 alumni took time out of their busy schedules to visit their Alma Mater – SIBM Bengaluru.
The second day of AGON, the management fest of IIM Ranchi brought with it many exciting events. The day started off with Cricket Mandi - a one-of-its-kind IPL style bidding competition by Conundrum- the Consulting Club of IIM Ranchi. In this event, the participating teams had to use their knowledge of cricket to strategically bid on the players, in order to select the best 11 players within a limited budget. It turned out to be a nerve-wracking and entertaining competition with very innovative strategies used by the teams in selecting their best teams. The event saw participants from IIM Ranchi, IIM Amritsar, IMI Delhi and VGSOM and teams from IMI Delhi and IIM Ranchi were the champions.
Maha Mandi has increasingly become a common name among the B- school gentry. For those of you who are still living under a rock, Maha Mandi is a one of its kind event where students sell educational toys and handicraft products, sourced from NGOs, on the streets of Mumbai. While the academia, students and media alike focus on and rave about Maha Mandi-the event, I am going to lay focus on Maha Mandi-the learning method.
