The foundation of IIM Rohtak was laid on November 2009 along with the special tag of first IIM in North India. In these eight years, it had a tremendous growth in almost every sector such as placements, Industry exposure, Infrastructure, etc.
In the past one year at IIM Rohtak, I can recount numerous memories that are etched in my mind. As college days are considered the best days of their life, I will be fortunate to appreciate these memories throughout my life. It is always difficult to choose one among the many, but one which I think stands out will be my classroom experience in my Strategy management class.
Each IIM has its own culture and all are unique. Having completed half my journey at this college, I am quite aware of various things at this college and what makes it special. Though there are multiple things that can be spoken of, I will condense it to four crucial things that keep the culture of IIM Rohtak in tact.
Our campus is the only IIM in the National Capital Region and we have a location advantage of being located only a one-hour distance from the national capital Delhi. This also helps us to get more industry exposure.

I still clearly remember the first Marketing Management class on the very first day of my MBA at Indian Institute of Management Rohtak. The professor was Dr Shivendra Kumar Pandey, one of the best professors I have had till now.
