IGNATIA'16 - Eastern Inter-IIM Sports Meet Hosted By IIM Ranchi

IIM Ranchi successfully hosted the first sports meet of the eastern IIMs – ‘Ignatia’. Enthusiastic participation was seen from IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore and IIM Raipur. For two days the air was heavily loaded with excitement, energy and competitiveness with each team displaying excellent athleticism and sporting abilities to claim the first trophy of Ignatia. It was a cocktail of exhilarating performances, great sportsmanship and camaraderie, even more enhanced by the pleasant climate of Ranchi. The event was well supported and sponsored by Central Coalfields Limited, Central Bank of India, Medica Ranchi and Khanaman.

Students of IIM Raipur at Rotman International Trading Competition

Indian Institute of Management Raipur reached yet another milestone as a team from the college participated in the Rotman International Trading Competition, organized by Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto organized its 13th annual Rotman International Trading Competition (RITC 2016) on Thursday, February 18th, 2016 to Saturday, February 20th, 2016. RITC is an intensive three-day trading competition. International Relation Committee took the initiative and started the registration process for selecting a team of four to represent IIM Raipur at RITC. It was decided that to form a team with the best performing individuals, the eliminations will be in multiple rounds, and on an individual performance basis.

Bengaluru: Mr. Snehdeep Singh Kalsi of SIBM Bengaluru, takes home a brand new Maruti Suzuki Swift after winning Colors of Youth Season 5. He performed Allah Hoo & Allah Hi Rahem (My Name is Khan) in the grand finale at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon NCR Delhi on 30th March, 2016. After Acoustics – The Country Rockers from D. Y. Patil College and Divyansh Gupta from NMIMS Mumbai were the 1st runner up & 2nd runner up respectively.

IIFT Students Win The RBI Policy Challenge 2016

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is happy to announce that its students have jointly won the inaugural edition of RBI Policy Challenge 2016 - a national level competition organized by the Reserve Bank of India, to further the spread of knowledge regarding financial, monetary and banking matters among the student community.  The team emerged victorious from among 260 participating teams after intense rounds of competition at regional and zonal levels. The winning team from IIFT, mentored by faculty Dr. Jaydeep Mukherjee, comprised of four students of IIFT Harshita Solanki, Rajat Malik, Sheryl D’souza, and Ganesh Sukumar.
