ABG As A Part Of My Journey - Kshitij Sharma, MDI Gurgaon

I was born and brought up in a small town in Rajasthan. I always had an urge that I would move far away from home for education and job. The journey began after matriculation, when I moved to Kota for my further studies. Life was tough and busy there, as I was preparing for JEE. This is the story of most of us people, as at least 11 lakh students appear for JEE Mains every year. The food was horrible, the room I stayed in wasn’t up to the mark and most importantly I was struggling to strike balance between school and coaching institute. I felt lost and doubted on my abilities. However, I was still able to cope up and that made me strong in initial stages of my career, which helped me gain confidence and I still keep that along. Not always, things remain rosy though, I had a tough time again in 12th, my marks nosedived, and I was plummeting in ranks. The road seemed tough, and it indeed turned out to be. I could not clear JEE and what remained in front of me was AIEEE (currently JEE Mains). I decided to not to leave any stone unturned. I challenged myself up and went an extra mile to achieve the same. I passed with flying colors, I was ranked amongst Top 6000 and I was sure to get at least a NIT, if not IIT. I did not want to lose a year again to take a drop and prepare again. I got admission at NIT Bhopal.
