If one were to look for commonalities across nations in 2016 it might well be called 'The Great Divide'. Never in the recent past have people presented such polarised responses to any political event such as Brexit, the US Presidential Elections, the Syrian refugee crisis or even the Great Indian De-monetisation. Never has data been so unpredictable. Nor the numbers seemed so close. Splitting the population of countries into two major groups; those for and those against. And even after the event is over, there has much strife, discussion and unhappiness with the results of seemingly fair and democratic processes.
