'A Journey To Discover Your True Self' - FMS, Delhi

'A Journey To Discover Your True Self' - FMS, Delhi

Often, we are simply too afraid to find out who we really are. But not always are we scared. At times, we merely go through life thinking we are something that we are not. And then we take that identity that we have generated for ourselves, for our actual soul. And this is a huge task to take this journey of finding ourselves: not to be misled by what seems to be our personality on the exterior, but to go deeper and find out who we really are. And one of the best places to start this journey is through education. Hence, college.

A Campus Tour of IIM Calcutta- The Land of The Seven Lakes

The campus of IIM Calcutta, or ‘Joka’ as we fondly call it, is beautiful in its own way. Well, to set the record straight, despite being the biggest campus among the Holy Trinity in terms of area, it certainly is not as well-maintained as the other two. Though that in no way means it is any less beautiful, after all it is the campus of The Seven Lakes, the lakes which were envisaged to symbolize  ‘cauldrons of knowledge’. The lakes, like almost all other significant structures on campus, have a great deal of history behind them. The Seven Lakes symbolize seven of the most legendary professors of the institute. Myth has it, whenever the lakes overflow, the placements skyrocket for that year. Besides, the campus is essentially a bird sanctuary, and provides ample opportunities for budding ornithologists, or photographers,(or perhaps even mere admirers of natural beauty) to sight birds of different species. And to add to that, one gets to see some rarely sighted animals such as the Monitor Lizard(whom we affectionately call ‘Monty’), swans, and ducks.

'That Memory Called Internship' - Niteen Bali's Internship Experience At Axis Bank - IIM Calcutta

I don’t claim to be a clairvoyant. But everyone at some point of time experiences something deep and raw about an expectation. That was how I felt when I cracked my Axis interview. The interview in itself was peculiarly ravishing. It was like a normal discussion with friends. Reminded me of my IIM Calcutta interview. Anyways, I was flown to Mumbai (extra leg space, complimentary meal) for the internship and being a fresher, I was quite skeptical about the work. But I was in for a surprise.

Dynamic, stylish, technologically advanced are a few words that would define Tesla’s iconic cars. But have you wondered who’s behind developing and assembling these beautiful machines? It’s none other than Wolverine, Storm, Vulcan, Xavier to name a few. Does that sound familiar? Well, that’s because they are your very own X-men characters at work at Tesla’s largest manufacturing plant.

KPMG (Knowledge & People to Manage Growth) - Anuya’s Internship Experience - TISS Mumbai

With due respect to Piet Klinjveld, I would like to describe my experience in KPMG as a beautiful association of Knowledge and People who help each other grow. So my internship started on the 4th of April,2016 in the Mumbai office of KPMG. I must admit that I was  nervous as this was my first job. On the first day I was greeted by my mentor who then introduced me to the rest of the team. That same day I met another intern from XLRI (Let's call him V) who was my partner in crime for the next two months.
