With a unique approach which incorporates a focus on “value based leadership” from where can emerge leaders with a grounded perspective on things-that-be; diversity certainly adds to the “value” in the “value based leadership” that SPJIMR assimilates within its students.

The cold-blooded murder of the IIML alumnus – he was dumped off after he detected large-scale irregularities in the sale of petrol and diesel at the petrol pump – caused nationwide uproar. Mr Manjunath Shanmugam, an alumnus of IIM-Lucknow and an employee of Indian Oil Corporation, who lost his life trying to stop fuel adulteration, will not be buried in the archives of history. We can soon get to watch him in a movie to be released next month.

The role of quality teaching and interacting with the best B-School Professors in the country plays a major role in an individual’s MBA journey. MBA aspirants generally tend to undermine and overlook this aspect. Thus, the Media and Corporate Communications Committee of IIM Indore UAE Campus launched the ‘Guru Gyaan’ series to spread awareness about the importance of focusing on the ‘Gyaan’ aspect in  the MBA journey. This initiative will feature interviews with professors who have set very high course delivery and teaching standards in the GCC region.

Most aspirants face a situation where they convert more than one b-school which are similar and looking for various parameters to decide upon the b-school that suits them the most. This article provides some qualitative factors to research about a b-school, which help in making a decision in such a situation.
