For most of us, an MBA from a reputed Business school is a platform that facilitates the exploration of our inner strengths and durabilties to face real life challenges by inculcating the requisite skills, abilities, acumen, experience and confidence. However, in the process of attaining the ultimate goal, acquiring knowledge and unleashing one’s hidden potential (for some) & acquiring the highest paying jobs (for some others!), there are many other unintentional, at times unexpected occurrences that happen. No matter how bad or good they are, they end up leaving your life all enriched. Be it the bitter-sweet experiences that mould us into better souls by the day or the people, all of whom have a reason for entering/leaving our lives - they all have a purpose for happening. Serendipity, as they say!

CAT 2013 Results were announced yesterday.
It is known that effective leadership requires emotional and creative intelligence more than reasoning and verbal abilities. Every individual has unique capabilities and strengths and possess multiple intelligences which needs to be measured. A leader should not only have good analytical capabilities but also have high Influencing Skills backed by traits such as Assertivness, Resilience, Risk Taking etc., have qualities such as Gregariousness, Empathy, Accommodation etc. which are important for Managing Relationships and should have high Problem Solving/Decision Making Traits such as Idea Orientation, Abstract Reasoning, Thoroughness etc.
CAT results are just few hours away from now and many of us would be going through different sets of emotions, which is understandable. Many of us would have put in a lot of effort and their high level of expectation is very much anticipated and obvious. On the the other hand this is also very much a known fact that very few of us is going to make it to 2nd round and again very very few of them is finally going to make it through. But the real question to answer is - What to those who don’t even make it to 2nd round? I can’t say about others but this is what I will go through, if I can’t make it to next level.
