6th in our Series is the campus from the National Capital - FMS Delhi. As always FMS Delhi reports a terrific placement season and gives more reasons to aspirants to choose FMS over many others in the country. Imagine an investment of less than Rs. 50,000 in 2 years for an average salary of Rs.16.34 lacs. Not many business schools in the world can give that kind of ROI. It is extraordinary. Another aspect to note is the line up of companies in the FMCG Marketing domain. It is quite an enviable list.
Yeah we know you have heard it all - The Marketing campus of the country, an amazing ROI, the 1 - minute extempore and of course the DU girls. But for us at the RED BUILDING of dreams, it is about living the experience, strengthening the originality which is unique to us and as our Alumni put it ‘Going out into the world with minimum damage to the zest for life’.
Nearly everyone with an MBA wants to get into strategy consulting. The few who make it get used to the high-flying life and are unwilling to give it up for anything in the world. It takes great guts, conviction and sensitivity to give up the fast life and put one's efforts into solving one of India's most slow-moving, intractable problems. That is exactly what Ravishankar Iyer is doing. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, class of 2005, he was Associate Principal at Feedback Ventures (now Feedback Infra) before he joined B-ABLE (Basix Academy for Building Lifelong Employability). The organization works with the National Skills Development Corporation to help build vocational skills among the under-educated and under-skilled. Following are the excerpts of our interview with him.

As we did for the 6 'Old' IIMs, we shall follow the same process for Top non-IIM Indian Business Schools. Most of these schools barring ISB are very old and are likely to have alumni in good positions in very good companies. It shouldn't be surprising if a lot of them have better alumni base across companies as compared to IIM Indore and IIM Kozhikode. XLRI is the oldest which was established over 60 years ago. FMS and JBIMS are also 50 years old. SPJIMR is over 25 years old as well.
