Like many of you, I too was an Engineer who aspired to study at a premier B-school. My journey towards MBA began in late 2014. While filling my form, I realized that the first question to ask myself to kick-start my journey towards an MBA degree was “what unique experience or quality differentiates me from my competitors?” I am an Electronics engineer who worked in the Finance IT division of Nomura. I handled key responsibilities and lead the project, and this was my differentiating factor or USP, whichever you feel comfortable with.
The movie Twelve Angry Men begins with a jury of 12 men who are locked in a deliberation room to decide the fate of an 18 year old boy from the slums who is accused of murdering his father. All the evidence, on the face of it, points to the fact that the boy is indeed the murderer, and a guilty verdict would sent the boy to the gallows.
I came to Mumbai with a suitcase. A suitcase full of dreams and a heart brimming with wonder. I looked at the brick red building that shone of a legacy built over 50 years and thought of all the things I would do here.

It all started with a mad dash from CST station to the iconic red brick building of JBIMS! I met my fellow students while fulfilling the formalities of admission. The students are a mélange! We come from various disciplines, varied work experiences and bring with us our own brand of brilliance. But we all have one thing in common, our passion for JB or Bajaj as we fondly call it!
