As a millennial, I have been a part of multiple trends coming and going. Though Aditya Birla Group is actually as old as the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857, when Seth Shiv Narayan Birla laid the foundation of House of Birla starting with cotton trade, today in 2019, the conglomerate feels just like a 21 year old, full of energy, zeal and zest, contributing to multiple aspects of life, touching millions across the world and unstoppably making the country proud.
WHY ADITYA BIRLA GROUPIS BIG IN MY LIFE?
Each an everyone of us must go through the obstacles and challenges in life to achieve our goals. My journey has been no different than the rest. My first real hurdle in life came after I chose science in class 11th. I did not think it would be this difficult to manage studies with my coaching classes for B. Tech entrance exams. The real shock came to me when I failed in my mid term examinations in class 11th and this was the first time I have failed in my entire life. My entire confidence was shaken, and I could barely eat for the next 2 days. My sister was the person who helped me get over my depression. Being an engineer herself she could relate to my situation and made me realize that in the long run this result would not make any difference to my career if I remain focused. “Does this mid term result will stop you from being what you aspired for?” she asked me. This question hit me deep. That day I decided to stop cribbing about the things that had already happened and start focusing on what lies ahead. From what I introspected that day, I found that my real problem was that I kept thinking too much instead of acting on them. Hard work is something from which you should never run away. The more effort you put in, the greater the reward is waiting for you on the other side. With this belief I keep moving towards my goals in life embracing every challenge instead of avoiding them.
Life is not as straightforward as it looks like. There are various twist and turn in one’s life. The world without war and life without hurdle are just impossible. Challenges are the best teachers in our life. We learn from them, we worried about them but at last, we overcome them and start living again like a blooming flower after terrible rains. Same is what my life is very tragic and curvy. Fast life living without any challenge like speed breaker is liked to live by all but it’s an ideal scenario possible one from million.
I think Aditya Birla Group has an important role to play in almost every person’s life and not just those people who have a high standard of living. It has played an immense role in India’s economy because of the diversity of areas it operates in. Be it fashion, textiles, telecom services or financial services, you will find Aditya Birla Group in almost every sphere. Being at the forefront of almost everything by way of its bringing about a revolution in different areas, it has brought about foreign brands in India, and in a way given our nation a recognition on an international platform. Not only that, it also has represented our country by way of exploring foreign markets to establish its name in different sectors.
I have had the opportunity to work on projects with Ultratech cement Ltd. and Hindalco Industries Ltd., when I was working as a Sales Engineer at ELGi Equipment’s Ltd. Having visited the Hindalco Taloja Plant many times, and witnessed the safety and quality standards of the Aditya Birla group company, makes this brand take a special position in my life. Freshwrapp, which Hindalco Industries Ltd. manufactures, is something that is always present in my kitchen and used for a lot of purposes from storing to wrapping food. Ultratech cement and Birla White are the products that I look up to whenever there is a need for procurement for house repair related product. I also have a small portion of my family savings invested in Aditya Birla Mutual Fund and I am quite satisfied with service and the excellent returns that the fund has generated. Idea kept me connected with my family when I was down south in Coimbatore for 6 months for my training period at ELGi Equipment’s Ltd.
