I was very excited when I got a call from SJMSOM. Due to COVID Pandemic interviews of all colleges were scheduled online. I was a bit nervous as I had never given an online interview before. The IIT Bombay team deserves credit for recreating the same offline experience using the Gather + Zoom technology. I liked all the small details that the gather platform provided. In the Gather platform, we were given a mini character and we had to navigate our way to a pre-assigned destination in a virtual map of the IIT-B campus. It also enabled us to talk to nearby candidates and SJMSOM seniors.

Much like the rest of the world, the pandemic forced b-schools this year to update their interview procedures by moving from offline face-to-face interactions to digital interaction. The pandemic came as a blessing in disguise for aspirants as online interviews were easier to manage and saved precious time, energy and resources that could be used for interview preparation. While different b-schools adapted differently to create interactions as lively as possible, SOM really came on top. Using the interactive Gather platform and with a strict straight forward SOP the interviews were seamless.
International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June 2021, and this year’s theme was 'Yoga For Wellness'. The prime focus is on practicing yoga for physical and mental well-being. The motto is aligned well with the current world scenario. Prime Minister Narendra Modi first introduced the proposal to observe the International Day of Yoga during the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly opening address. The day aims to raise awareness around the various benefits of practicing Yoga worldwide.
One of the important aspects in the journey of CAT preparation is taking mocks. But what most new aspirants miss out on is an equally important or even more important activity called MOCK ANALYSIS. Taking mocks without proper analysis is like exercising without proper diet, it is definitely helpful but we will miss out on the full benefit without the latter. So it’s important to know how to go about analysing
