Today I woke up at 07:00 AM to the sound of my alarm, as usual. The second floor of my newly bought bungalow is renovating from the last week, as a result of which I saw a huge pile of Ultratech Cement piled up neatly in one corner of my living room. Every day before going to the office, I rarely have any issues on racking my brain on what to wear, thanks to Allen Solly for the fantastic range of smart formal wear to choose. Being a health-conscious person, I usually prefer homemade food. Needless to say, I pack my food in Freshwrap Aluminium foil, and then I am off to work.

It's not just me with this routine, millions of Indians are facilitated through these brands, either in a minute or a significant way. It's truly astonishing to see how Aditya Birla Group is slowly becoming an integral part of our lives.

Aditya Birla Group, a conglomerate, and a proud fortune 500 company is spread across 35 countries and has its foot firmly rooted in almost every possible industry. From redefining our lifestyle to providing top-notch telecom services like Vodafone, Aditya Birla Group dwells in India’s heart. With the goal of providing superior value to their customers, Aditya Birla Group is selflessly making our lives easier since 1857; a dream which started with a cotton trading firm in a small village of Pilani, Rajasthan.

“There’s nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.”

Aditya Birla Group is a living example.

HOW I OVERCAME THE CHALLENGES THAT I FACED:

The challenges that I had to deal with were more due to the internal factors than the external ones. I always had a disadvantage of having an introverted personality. Not being able to socialize and interact with the outer world always pulled me several steps down whenever I tried to climb the stairs towards my goal. Every time I took a step forward, my nature of being a segregated person mercilessly dragged me four steps back. As a result, I was never able to play as a team member, and it resulted in disasters for me. Every time a task was assigned to us as a group, I had a tendency to do my part in solitude, thus missing out on the essential brainstorming and views of other teammates. It didn’t take me long to realize how I myself was the biggest barrier in the path of my success, and that’s when I pledged to destroy this challenge.

“Don’t hesitate. Take a deep breath and speak your heart out.  Trust me, you will be fine.” With the confidence of my family and friends continually supporting and encouraging me, I enrolled for the Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES) course. That was my turning point. Once I got to understand what I was missing out by standing out of the crowd all my life, I decided to never look back. The feeling of being a whole different person was ineffable.

Even now, I feel nervous before addressing a crowd of fifty people, but I have learned to confront it. There will be times like that all my life, but now I know how to deal with them.
