Covering almost 14 sectors and with a workforce of 120,000 employees from 42 nationalities, this conglomerate is one of its kind. It is big on community, fashion, infrastructure, innovation, diversity, finance and manufacturing.
And like many others, Aditya Birla Group is big in my life also. It actually has been an integral part of my life. I remember taking out my lunchbox which remained fresh and warm because it was always wrapped in Freshwrapp. The food, made with love by my mother remained warm and fresh only because of Freshwrapp.
In one more way, it made a huge impact on my life. Finding good formals and especially for women is quite a task but Aditya Birla Group made this easy. During my interviews, it was brands like Allen Solly (Solly), Van Heusen which made my work easy and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the day. If I talk about casuals which are stylish yet comfortable, it would not be wrong to say that the two best in this class are Liva and Forever 21. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail changed my dressing style. The comfort which I feel in formals is only because of the perfect fittings and the material of the cloth. The best thing is the availability of these products. It’s so easy to find these brands everywhere.
So, it would not be wrong to say that it has been an important part of my life and I will continue to use them again and again. Because it’s not only about the product but also about the trust that I have on them.
Trying, failing, achieving but not giving up.
In an individual's life, one of the main things that can help him to succeed further in life is through the challenges and the hardships that he faces.
In a similar way, I have also faced many challenges in my life and learned a lot from them. But one of the major challenge that I even think of today is the one that I faced during my schooldays.
From the very starting, I was a very bright student in my class. Getting 1st rank was like a habit for me. This continued until my school was changed when I was in class 4th due to some reasons. It took a little time to adjust to the studying pattern and with the environment. But this impacted my performance in a negative way.
This story continued with me for the next school also. From that stage, my performance started degrading at an exponential rate. From getting rank 1 to getting a rank of 36 in a class of 70, it was very depressing and my confidence started degrading.
There was even a situation where I wasn’t getting admission in 8th class. But somehow I got admission with a warning that If I failed in any subject, I would not get admission in the next class.
But that time, the one good thing which happened with me was that I got my tuition teacher who helped me in all possible ways. I got the right guidance at the right time. From getting marks like 15 in 50 to getting 91 in 100, this journey was never smooth. My parents supported me completely. After that, in 10th, I got 10 cgpa, 92.40% in 12th. And now I am here, studying in one of the best B schools in India. Even today also sometimes I couldn’t believe the transformation that came in me. After getting admission here, the first thing which I did was, I thanked my teacher who made me what I am today.
But one thing which I understood was if you keep trying for something which you want to do, keep on doing the required hard work, and if you get the right guidance at the right time, eventually, you will accomplish it.
