Sir, I have a concern and it would be great if you can address it. Qno: 73, Set-B Cacophony:Euphony::As per VistaMind, IMS, TestFunda, TIME ,CL and Bullseye, Ans is Nocturnal:Diurnal. However, Belligerent:Serene also seems correct as the relationship is that the words are 'antonyms' of each other. I request you to explain why the option- Belligerent: Serene isn't correct? Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries clearly justify that Serene is one of the many antonyms of Belligerent. Also, Cacophony and Euphony are nouns. Both belligerent and serene, though adjectives can also be used as nouns. However, nocturnal and diurnal are adjectives which cannot be used as nouns. While the following logic may seem absurd, I considered this point too while answering the question as the options were close. Cacophony and Euphony have 3, 2 vowels respectively. This clearly implies that number of vowels in first word is one more than the number of vowels in the second. This condition is okay with Belligerent:Serene. However, the choice- Nocturnal:Diurnal doesn't satisfy the aforementioned condition.
