The placements for the 18th batch of IIM-A, PGPX concluded in June 2024. Most of the batch was placed in the 4-day placement drive, ‘Wave’ in November 2023. The others were recruited on a rolling basis till June. The graduating batch of 2024 comprised students from diverse work backgrounds with experience of 4-15 years. The roles offered to the batch as part of the IIM Ahmedabad PGPX Placements 2024, spanned from mid-level to senior-level management positions including- Chief Product Officer, Vice President, Associate Director, Associate Vice-President, Leadership Programs, etc.

IIM Ahmedabad PGPX Placements 2024: Key Highlights
- A total of 105 companies visited the campus this year and made 150+ offers. 67 companies were new recruiters for the program.
- Accenture, Persistent Systems, Adani Group, RPC Group, and Eli Lilly made the highest number of offers.
- Out of the 147 graduating students, 126 sought employment through the institute. A total of 5 students remained unplaced.
- The highest domestic CTC was 54.80 lacs. The mean and median CTC stood at Rs. 36.41 lacs and Rs. 35 lacs respectively.
- There is a sharp drop in the highest domestic package which was 1 Crore plus for the 2023 batch. The mean and median figures however have improved implying that the overall placements for the PGPX batch have been excellent except for the highest CTC.
- Two international offers were accepted for Frankfurt, Germany at the salary of USD 1.26 lac. The offer was made in the IT Solutions sector for Marketing and Sales.
- The highest number of offers were made in Consulting (36). Location-wise the highest offers were saturated at Bengaluru (45).
