Meet Dr. Peeyush Mehta - Professor at IIM Calcutta, InsideIIM Professor of The Year In 2020
Dr. Peeyush Mehta is a Professor at IIM Calcutta and teaches the subject Operations management, Manufacturing Strategy and Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the institute.
Professor Mehta, a Mechanical Engineer, was a participant of Fellow in Management (PhD), in Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A) and later became a Research Fellow at Singapore - MIT Alliance Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
Professor Mehta began teaching at IIM Calcutta as an associate professor in 2011, and became a Professor in 2015 and has been associated with the institute for nearly a decade. Before IIM C, he was an associate professor at IIT Kanpur where he got the senate citation for teaching excellence for 6 consecutive years. Therefore, it doesn't come as a surprise that Professor Mehta has swayed the hearts of IIM Calcutta's MBA students and has won this accolade! Read more about Professor Peeyush Mehta here.
