2. Asked me why is Prayagraj named so.
Told that the Sangam of rivers. Then told before Allahabad, it was named Prayag and hence was renamed.
He said, that is all fine, but why Prayagraj? I said not sure
3. Who renamed Prayagraj to Allahabad?
I said Yogi Adityanath.
The panelist said I asked you who named Prayagraj to Allahabad
I said beg your pardon, Sir, it was emperor Akbar.
Why did he do so?
I said, Allahabad comes from the word Ilahi, I said he did so as Allahabad was a part of his kingdom and to give a Muslim touch.
4. So you work on ETL tools? Yes sir
5. What are the other ETL tools? I named 3 of them.
6. Which of these is based on the Gartner Magic Quadrant? I said no idea, not heard of this term before.
7. What is transformation when I said you say ETL? I just gave an example of converting the data as per client requirement wherein say, for example, you have PIN Code, 400000, I can transform the data to add space in between. 400 000.
8. He then asked if the PIN Code was just a number? I said Yes
9. He asked where I stayed and its PIN Code. I told
10. He told me his PIN Code and asked me to subtract. I asked him to repeat his PIN Code. Quickly subtracted it and gave an answer.
11. He asked if this is the distance between the two places? I said No
12. Then what does PIN signify? I could not answer

1. So you studied in UP, stay in MH, do you also belong to MH? I said I belong to TN
2. Tell me 2 good things about UP vis-a-vis MH and TN and 2 bad things.
I told well, that UP people are more respectful and speak saying HUM aa rahe hain. Secondly, They come from Hindi medium backgrounds but are still doing what they are doing in life unlike me who is from English medium background which is commendable and motivating. Bad points I spoke, there is no good industries, scarcity of jobs and education could be better, unlike Mumbai and Chennai.
3. Which specialization are you interested in?
I said I will enter with an open mind but if I have to choose one, I will go with Finance as I have been following the news and have got quite interested in it.
4. What have you followed? I said RBI's monetary policy committee bi-monthly
5. She asked about the Repo rate. I told.
6. In recent times, Repo rates have been decreased significantly by RBI, what does it imply? I said Interest rates low -> so more borrowing -> more money in circulation -> so growth
7. What about inflation? I said inflation is good it should be 4%.
8. But it is already breached, what can be done? I said do the reverse, increase the Repo rate.
9. OK, so this inflation is demand-side or supply-side, I said supply. She said wrong it is demand side, pls go and read more. I said okay
10. So what can RBI do, spur growth also and check inflation as well. I said inflation will be there anyways but govt should plan deficit financing and started talking about that.
11. Deficit financing is done by govt or RBI? I said govt
12. So, I asked you what should RBI do, you mixed both. I agreed and said Sorry.
