• Function-wise, on average, the top paying role was Operations & IT, offering an average salary of INR 18.65 lakhs. This was followed by the Analytics and Consulting function (INR 18.14 lakhs) and Sales and Marketing (INR 17.49 lakhs).

Analytics and Consulting Roles Most Preferred For MBA Students | IIM Raipur Placements 2022

• In 2022, the most preferred industry to work with was Strategy and Consulting, with 35% of the batch opting for roles for these companies. Preference for this industry grew by 25% as compared to last year, when the IT/ITES industry made-up 37% of all offers accepted by IIM Raipur students.

• The most preferred function for the graduating batch was Analytics and Consulting, with nearly half the batch (44%) opting for these roles. In comparison, Sales and Marketing, which attracted 34% of talent at IIM Raipur last year, made up 21% of all offers accepted this year.
