IIM Raipur’s New Campus Facility Was A Deciding Factor For Me - Avishek Chatterjee

My seniors and faculties also said many good things about this college. Raipur has a diverse set of people coming from different backgrounds, which will surely help in peer learning and networking.

Last but not the least, its new campus, where we will be moving soon, is a world-class facility and great infrastructure. Many of the new IIMs lack in infrastructure, so IIM Raipur’s new campus facility was definitely a deciding factor for many like me.

And after coming here I can say I have no regrets over my decision. All the seniors and faculty members have been very helpful. They stay in the campus and it is easy for us to connect with them anytime. We can call them even at midnight. Believe me its true.

I hope this to be a great journey in my life and I want to enjoy it to the fullest till it lasts.

Which ABG company I want to work for and why? 

I have an interest in marketing for quite a long time. I am doing MBA so that I can switch my domain to marketing. Aditya Birla Group is in the League of Fortune 500 companies. The Aditya Birla Group has been ranked fourth in the world and first in the Asia Pacific in the ‘Top Companies for Leaders’ study 2011. Brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England, Idea Cellular, Birla Sun Life Insurance and Birla Sun Life Asset Management are among the leaders in their respective categories. I want to join the marketing industry and AB Having a strong presence in the life insurance, Housing, FMCG products will be a very good opportunity for me to start my career with.
