Joining SIBM is like a dream come true. It has almost been a month and it has been an amazing journey so far.
It is one of the top-notch colleges in India, not only because of its market value but also because of its infrastructure. Its campus is spread in 250 acres. Situated in Lavale village, the college lies in a range of mountains. Greenery is everywhere. It is sitting in the lap of nature. Peacocks can be seen easily when you peep out from your hostel windows. Sunrise and sunsets give us a unique pose. It is like sun sitting in the lap of cloud and welcoming us and giving us a sign of our bright future. Whenever it rains it only magnifies its beauty. You can’t get out of your room without an umbrella because you will never know when it rains. Rains are there to welcome you always. It has so many beautiful points which simply add to its beauty.
Its previous campus was at Senapati Bapat road. It shifted to Lavale in the year 2007 and took the biggest leap in terms of campus. For a professional institute, campus life plays an important role in shaping the personalities. This campus does the best in this regard. It is far from Pune city and hence peace is permanent. You will be free from city noise Coming to campus gives you the most scenic experience. Mess food is good. We have MNC (Midnight canteen), which remains open till 2 am so you can’t only roam in the campus but you can have food. We have an amphitheatre here, from where you can see the whole city. Go sit in peace and enjoy the calmness. We have a helipad here. We have a lot of movies shot here like Wanted, Bodyguard. Sports facilities are great here. It has its own swimming pool, Yoga, Gym, Squash etc. apart from other outdoor sports. It is fully student-driven institution and thus students hold greater responsibility and learn the perfect management of resources.
It’s like working in an organization along with learning and that is a boost when you enter into the corporate world. We have Aqua point, which is the relieving point when you feel stressed of doing lectures, assignments, council work etc. Nature has given our campus this beauty and our college administration is fully committed to preserving it. We use solar powered lights. We have a rainwater harvesting system. We use cycles inside the campus which is eco-friendly and also cycling keeps us fit.

I would like to work for Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Limited (ABFRL). ABFRL commonly known as Pantaloons will give me an opportunity of a lifetime to understand and cater to the needs of the “Aam Aadmi” of the country. I would like to see myself at a brand management role in ABFRL within the next five years. ABFRL is one of the top garment retail chains in the country and working there will give me a chance to explore my creative skills and will enhance my core competency for a future top management role.
