Located at the hilltops of Lavale, Pune, my campus- Symbiosis Institute of Business Management is unique in some of the salient manners. Firstly, the lovely weather that we enjoy throughout. The sun rays which make its way through the dense clouds that seem to float just a distance away. The drizzle rains that prevails almost daily making the climate slightly chilled. The weather during the night time, where cold breeze winds pass through you and leave you with a confusion about which season is actually prevailing.
Secondly, talking about the location, SIBM Pune holds a great advantage because it is located far from the din of the city, thereby helping one who is living in the campus enjoy the Mother Nature perfectly. Be it the sunrise, the different sceneries or the greenery in the entire campus, the perfect music of nature helps the students gather more concentration and thereby excel in their field.
Thirdly, the motto which the college follows- ‘’Vasudev kutambakam’’ is an asset for all the college students. The slogan means the world is one, and the valid proofs which the college expresses through it are the five institutes running in the same campus, and the room sharing in hostels, which no other college provides. In other words, the college teaches us how to manage and live with others, no matter from which place they are or what they possess.
Lastly, the unique teaching pattern which the college has- the easiness with which the students approach the faculties for queries, makes the campus an epitome of how the proper B-schools should be. The different student-driven councils is another example of how the freedom, though given to students, but they utilise it for the best of their knowledge.
Which ABG company do I wish to work for and why?
Relating to my specialisation and my interest I would pick Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. This is because this particular company in the span of just two decades has set up a great benchmark for itself and is still continuing to rise. If we look at all the schemes that this company runs, one can clearly say that almost all the schemes provide a great return and this has contributed in making it to stand among the top five mutual fund companies in India. Thereby the strategy the firm applies has led an impact on me and I want to serve for it in the near future.
