Incredible beauty, magnificent architecture, eye catchy flora and fauna are some of the many adjectives that can be used to portray the campus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management on the Lavale hills on the outskirts of Pune.
My first day in this campus was on the day of my interview for the MBA programme.. A bus from Senapati Bapat road took me to the hilltop campus at around 9 in the morning. As soon as I got down from the bus a cold breeze embraced me while the foggy February morning added a mystic vibe to the campus.
The seniors who were assigned to us on the day of the interview gave us a campus tour. What remained staple throughout the tour were the shutter sounds and faces in awe of the place.
After joining the college I got to know how much of the campus I had left untouched on the interview day. No other campus must be as close and as much in harmony with the environment as this place.
While the rain Gods hover above us, we feel like we are in an heavenly abode. MBA might make our lives hectic but such scenic beauty brings peace to our minds.
The campus has all the sports facilities that one can think of. From a well maintained swimming pool to a basketball court and a cricket ground, a football ground, a Table Tennis table, badminton courts, a gym and so many other facilities.
The best part about hostel life is that our hostel has two pet dogs. Any pet lover will feel elated to see this. Pets act as stress busters for the students.
The auditorium, the classrooms, the convention centreand the library are made in a way so that everything is coherent with a proper study
environment. The amphitheatre gives the best view of Pune city while we also have a helipad exclusively for the arrival of honoured guests.
With so many awe inspiring spots in the campus, the Lavale campus of Symbiosis is for sure one of the most unique campuses in India. This is the campus where students suggest their family and friends to come for a vacation and live in harmony with the surroundings.
Which ABG company would I like to work for and Why?
The company that I would choose to be in would be Aditya Birla Capital ltd.
The reason why I chose this is firstly I am a finance student. Secondly, the steady growth that the company has shown in
the past years not only revenue wise but also with the growth of financial products has been commendable. I find myself as a good fit for the company and I am sure I would give my best by working hard and wth due diligence.
