Note From Editor -> Free CAT Mocks 2025: Daily Sectionals!
Preparing for CAT can be overwhelming without the right guidance! Before utilizing all the available online resources, it is essential to understand that you have limited time at your disposal. To utilise your preparation time effectively, I would personally recommend any one offline coaching institute( Career Launcher, TIMES) along with one paid/ free youtube online channel (Rhoda, Unacademy, Vedantu) and one online test series ( IMS). I had taken offline classroom coaching from Career Launcher Connnaught Place along with IMS basic 40 mocks test series. I shall always be grateful to Shashank Sir and Sanjaya ma'am, along with the entire CL team for their undying efforts. Gejo sir and Gautum Puri Sir are the OGs, and I am truly thankful to them.
Plan your timetable giving sufficient time to difficult maths topics, attempt at least 3-4 RCs and 3-4 LRDI sets per day.
Appearing for mocks starting May/June is a good idea.
A total of 40 mocks for CAT and 15 for XAT shall be sufficient.
It is of almost importance to thoroughly analyse your mocks to identify your strengths and weaknesses. Simply appearing for the mocks without allocating time for analysis shall not be fruitful. For the purpose of GDPI, reading newspapers daily and watching any one or two YouTube news channels is required. You may also subscribe to the Times of India/ Hindustan Times. Also participating in case competitions hosted by premium management institutions like IIMs, FMS,XLRI etc shall help you gain a competitive advantage over others for interviews.
Don't worry, enjoy your preparation and all the best for making it to your dream B- school.
