The highest stipend went up to Rs. 3.40 lakhs, and over 84% of the batch received 6-digit stipends for the entire duration of their summer internship. NITIE Summer Placements 2021 - Important Highlights
The following are important highlights from the summer placements process at NITIE Mumbai for the PGDIM and PGDISEM class of 2021:
- Overall 142 companies participated in the Summer Placement Season.
- The average stipend (for two months) at NITIE jumped to INR 1,85,796 - a significant rise of 16.2 % from last year. The highest stipend stood at INR 3,40,000.
- The average stipend for the top 10% of the batch stood at INR 3,02,857.
- Over 84% of the batch received 6-digit stipends for the entire duration & 52% received over INR 2,00,000 stipend for the entire duration.
- Strategy & Consulting roles were offered by the likes of Bain & Co., Deloitte USI, McKinsey, PwC US Advisory, PwC India etc.
- Leading FMCG companies like Colgate Palmolive, Dabur, Diageo, Godrej Consumer Products, HUL, ITC, J&J, Mondelez, Nestlé, P&G, Reckitt Benckiser etc. recruited from the campus.
- First-time recruiters included AB InBev, AstraZeneca, Bain & Co., Bira91, Diageo, DealShare, Edelweiss, Enphase Energy, Fresenius Medical Care, GEP Consulting, Lenskart, McKinsey, Ninjacart, Ola Cabs, Puma, RBEI, Signify, Snapdeal and Western Digital.
