NITIE students once again proved their mettle as versatile managers as they rocked the sports arena in Sprint - 15 , sports fest organized by SPJain, Mumbai. The fest provided a grand platform to the budding sportsmen and women across various institutes both in and outside of Mumbai to showcase their sporting spirit.
NITIE has been following a culture of holistic development with adequate focus on extra- curricular activities to mould its future managers into individuals ready to take up any challenge that they might face in life, with confidence. Sports has been one of the integral ingredients of this wholesome approach of pedagogy followed in NITIE.
The 3-day sports fest witnessed participation from students across all the B-Schools of the country with events including table tennis, volleyball and cricket to name a few. The sports team from NITIE displayed their extraordinary feat in all of these events. NITIE bagged the winner's trophy in Volleyball after defeating the team from TISS to become the champions of the event. In the much hyped Cricket NITIE reached the finals of the tournament and were runners-up against the team from IIM Indore.
All in all, the teams brought back loads of lovely memories for themselves and everlasting laurels for the institute to cherish.
