Meet Prof. Pradeep Pai - Associate Professor of NMIMS Mumbai, InsideIIM’s Professor Of The Year 2020
Prof. Pai is an Associate Professor at NMIMS Mumbai, where he teaches business statistics, operations management, supply chain management, logistics management, productivity management, operations research and research methodology to first and second-year students at the b-school. He has done his engineering and MMS (Masters of Management Studies) both in Mumbai University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Management from All India Management Association (AIMA) and Aligarh Muslim University (AIMA – AMU).
He has 20 years of industry experience. He has worked with companies like Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co. Ltd., Godrej GE Appliances Ltd., Personnel Search Services, and ACE Search Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Apart from that, he has 25 years of teaching experience in colleges like KJSIMSR, IBS, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya’s Institute of Management & Research, Vile Parle (East), etc.

Dr Sreeram Sivaramakrishnan: His way of teaching brings method to the madness that is there in the Marketing curriculum. It is highly structured and examples and case intensive, cases which are very relevant to the students.
Prof. Chandrima Sikdar: The sheer passion with which she teaches and the amount of energy she carries while teaching is just fabulous. She has that art of making something Economics sound stimulating for someone like me who comes from an engineering background and no prior course on economics. She takes everything to real life, asks us to question our beliefs and intervenes to give her inputs in our quest of discussion-based learning.
