A few students also proved their mettle by bagging the Best Intern Awards competing with interns from other top b-schools at leading companies such as Siemens, Cognizant Business Consulting, Britannia, Pidilite, Merck MSD, LogiNext etc. Shrenik Mehta, winner of Best Intern at Britannia, says “The two-month Summer Internship stint at Britannia was an extremely enriching experience. I learnt a lot and it gives me immense joy to know that I contributed positively to my organisation. I am deeply grateful to Britannia for this award, it is an honour.”
PPI/PPO offers were received through B-school competitions organized by premier companies – 4 from ET Young Leader contest; 3 to the campus winners of ITC Interrobang, 4 to the national finalists of Ground Zero by Future Group, 6 to winners & national finalists of Carpe Diem by HUL – the competition NMIMS Mumbai has been winning for two consecutive years now. L’Oreal offered 2 PPOs to the finalists of Brandstorm – an international level competition and Reckitt Benckiser offered a PPI to the runners-up of RB Mavericks. Other competitions that offered PPI/PPO’s are Maverick by Deloitte & Voyage Case study of Vodafone.
The institute has been consistently placing about 25% of the batch since past many years through PPIs/PPOs.
