One of the major reasons for selecting IIM Raipur was the connectivity to all major cities of India. The major factor is the pull of the brand IIM and IIM Raipur has already established itself all over India.
The institute is expected to shift to its new campus by this year which is situated in Naya Raipur. The new campus will come upon 200 acres of land and will be one of the finest examples of state of art campus planned with a blend of modernity and cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh. The hostel will also be having a Radiant cooling system.
The faculty available at the college are of top quality. All the professors have teaching and research pedigree of the highest grade. There is a mix of experienced and young faculty allowing for a unique mix. Their teaching method is a mix of pedagogy, cases, and others. The faculty is highly knowledgeable and provide an amazing learning experience. We have the best faculty to student ratio among all peer B-schools. We got 25 in-house faculty members, and for few subjects, we get guest faculty members as well. Apart from that, we get regular guest lectures and campus talks which are arranged by placement office, clubs, and committees.
The infrastructure of the college is quite good. The classrooms and computer labs are spacious with air-conditioned. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in the campus 24x7. The hostel rooms are well maintained with 2 or 3 sharing options available for the students for rooms.
The college has had a consistent 100% placement record. The placement committee of the college takes care of the final placements of the students. A number of top firms including Deloitte, ICICI, KPMG, Emami, etc. visit the campus. The roles offered include consulting, marketing, sales, IT, operations, and HR.
The placement team also makes sure of summer internships for 1st-year students with that also having a history of 100% placement.

I would like to be part of Aditya Birla Group Leadership program which is challenging and exposes participants to a variety of disciplines and business functions. I would like to work for Aditya Birla Fashion in the sales department. I previously have experience in the sales department and it will be a good opportunity for me to travel and experience the consumer environment of an industry that will always be foremost and receptive to rapid changes in consumer behaviour. Moreover, it is already an established brand and I hope I can be part of it to make it the topmost brand in India and the rest of the world.
