If nature is your cup of tea then surely you are in for a ride.
Situated on the hilltop in Lavale, SIBM Pune offers views that no other B-School in the world can offer. With the monsoon season in its prime, the sceneries in Lavale are breathtaking. Every evening during the sunset, we get to be a spectator to a new kind of color that blankets the sky.
The ride from the hill base to the hilltop is also a rare experience. It’s filled with twist and turns, and the lush green surrounding, makes you forget that you are in a college campus. It feels like you are outbound to a hill station until you see the gate of the campus. Even when you are in the campus, the feeling of you being in a hill station does not go away easily. When you need a breeze of fresh air ‘Aqua Point’ is the place to be. The location is precisely built so that gushes of air can make you refreshed in a fraction of second, also the view of the lake does the job too.
If you are of the exploring kind then SIBM Pune offers you with loads of destinations to set your foot on. The amphitheatre that it bolsters is at a singular location with the view of the hills and city in your eyesight. There is also ‘Vista Point’ which serves as a helipad for the incoming choppers. The campus is a paradise for all the budding photographers. The gear with which you shoot doesn’t matter, all that matters is the visual that canvasses the screen.
For making our way around the campus, the college has equipped us with bicycles that are parked at all necessary places. The bicycle rides around the hill is one ride that each and every one of the Symbiosis student cherishes. The college also hosts a multitude of sporting infrastructure. There is no shortage of sports that a student can play, there’s basketball court, football, swimming pool and cricket grounds in the open. The college also has a good number of indoor games like badminton court, squash, pool, carom and chess. For the fitness lovers in the house, the college has a state of the art Gym with Gym trainers around for assistance. SIBM Pune is also famous for its Mid Night Canteen also known as MNC around the college. The amount of work that is done at the MNC by the groups while having their coffee is staggering. And of course, ‘SymbiEat’ is always the rescuer from the everyday mundane mess food.
SIBM offers us the prospect to not only meet people from different cultures but also from different countries. The plethora of knowledge and information that flows around the campus that is filled with diversity is unbelievable. The more you explore the more you find yourself. SIBM provides plenty of opportunities to find ourselves.
