Symbiosis International (Deemed University) was established in 1978 as one of the best B-School in India. Symbiosis has various institute all over India, but SIBM Pune is the most beautiful campus among all.
SIBM is mesmerizing in uncountable prospects. The various factors that make SIBM different from other B-school are many, among which the best one is the green environment. The SIBM campus stands on the Lavale hill-top surrounded with the evergreen forest around the campus. The university is even more beautiful during the monsoon. We can see many species of birds, animals and reptiles enjoying the nature around the campus. The weather just seems perfect in almost every season. The beauty of the college cannot be described in simple words, let’s say the college is an art in itself. The monsoon season is the best time to witness the beauty of the campus as we can see greenery at its best. The people are nice, coming from various religious and cultural background. All of them are unique, coming with their uniqueness and charm which makes the campus even more beautiful.
As the college is located at top of the hill, the scenic beauty around the campus is too beautiful all around the year which plays a great part in a student’s life. The Student-driven culture of SIBM Pune makes it unique from the other B-schools. SIBM Pune has many student councils like Aspirant Relations Team, Sports Management Team, Corporate Interface Team, Co-curricular Team, SECC Team (Social awareness), etc. lead by the students. They organize various events, activities and competitions time and again and suggest for active participation. Coffee with SIBM, Arcturus, Imperio, National Alumni Meet, Transcend, The Blueprint, Entrepreneurship Summit, Sports Conclave, Proelio are the main events at SIBM Pune. SIBM Pune is also known for it’s rigorous academics along with supporting many extra-curricular activities. The illustrious alumni, exemplary students, full-time faculty and numerous visiting faculty members from the corporate and industry around the world makes the campus strong.
Transcend Flagship annual management and cultural fest of SIBM Pune was organized as a three-day grand event which held on 29th January 2018. This event had a series of management and cultural competition with a massive participation of 8300+ participants from 70 colleges in 18 events. SECC (The Social, Entrepreneurship and consulting cell) initiate Prerna, aims at spreading knowledge and smile among the people. Prerna provides all around awareness about life skills to its beneficiary. SECC arrange programs which give information about how to operate mobiles, filing an F.I.R. by means of role play, basic first aid, and basic hygiene tips. More than 80 housekeeping staff attended this session and 50 student volunteer facilitated the training.
SIBM Pune is an exemplary B-school as it is a pollution-free campus, concerning about the physical and mental health of the students. The private vehicles are not allowed inside the college premises due to this reason. Despite the college being not so far from the hostel blocks, the campus provides bicycles to the students. SIBM Pune campus is located at about 18 KM from Pune Station, a little far away from the city. Symbiosis provides transport facilities for the students. The buses leaves in regular intervals in case we need to travel outside of the campus. SIBM Pune provides a full-time residential program to all students, havinga top class mess where you can get a variety of cuisine from all over the India. Mess menu is decided by students.
SIBM Pune Campus is well equipped with Sports infrastructure. For indoor sports, we have Badminton courts, Table tennis, pool, Swimming pool, Squash, carom and also has a top class gym with multiple trainers and various Gym related equipment. Every year we have various events likes Gravitas (Inter college tournament), Dwandva (MBA I vs MBA II), and most famous SPL( SIBM Premier League).

Aditya Birla is a conglomerate which has various companies like Fashion and Retail limited, Aditya Birla capital limited, Payment bank limited, Retail limited, Idea cellular limited. I would want to work for “Aditya Birla Retail Limited” because there is never a dull moment in the FMCG industry. The innovation of products and the movement of goods are at a high pace in the FMCG industry which makes it interesting and evergoing and ABRL is fourth largest supermarket chain in the country. Aditya Birla is about the top brands of India proving by providing various products like fruits, vegetables, food and beverages. ABRL is providing a platform for learning and growth of the employees and offers things to an entirely new scale. Working with FMCG industry gives you the opportunity to be the part of some global success stories. In ABRL, various centres are created to nurture the talents of their employees. It gives me a great platform to explore and improve my skill sets and enhance professional knowledge about the corporate world if I get to be with Aditya Birla Retail Limited.
