I strive every day to build up my skills, my knowledge and bring out the mettle in me. The journey needs the constant push and support to go on and ABG surely plays a big role in ensuring it. My day starts with a CALL from home that’s gives the mental boost for the day. Foundation of success in life is good health. It is ensured by the nutritious food that I get to eat. ABGs farm products have ensured that quality farm products available to majority of Indians.
The infrastructure of the institution not only provides a provision for carrying out all student activities, but it also reflects as the brand of the institution and I, as a student, closely associate with it. As a part of my B-school life, I’m involved in various activities, from making presentation at class, challenging others at B-School competitions to confidently interacting and presenting to companies. And the apparels I wear definitely help me in them. A trendy and comfortable clothing helps me in its own way to maintain a state of mind to come up with creative ideas and solutions. The formal clothes I wear gives me the confidence to put forward my work, knowledge and skills in the best way.
Being associated in so many ways with ABG, the values of the company also get inculcated in me and I’m surely delighted about it. ABG believes strongly in the betterment of the ecosystem. Water, sanitation and hygiene are the most critical issues in the country. ABG is leaving no stones unturned to ensure upliftment in these aspects.
Challenges I have overcome
My strong suits that I have imbibed as a result of my takeaways in academic and professional career are perseverance and my pursuit to make an impact at all costs are features that define me. An instance of my characteristics would be one wherein I was tasked with the role of Captain of my college's motorsport team. The stakes were high, a competition with participation from 400 teams across the country, and a legacy to upkeep coupled with the constraints of creating a full-fledged vehicle in a short span of 3 months was nothing short of a Herculean task to accomplish. Despite the odds, I carried forward the responsibility entrusted in me and led the team in ensuring the accomplishment of a vehicle from scratch. Being the captain, not once did I shy away from engaging with various stakeholders be it procuring parts, collaborating with professors and to keep stock of the progress to ensure timely finish of the deliverables are the instances that talk about my grit and my tireless pursuit of excellence. Through strategic planning and ensuring efficient team, I could ensure that team achieved what it had targeted for. Definitely the task was not an easy one, there were failures and cash crunches. But I always ensured that the team spirit remained high and tried the best to come up with the best alternatives to resolve the problems. Even today, when I reminiscence about the incident I take great pride in having accomplished what was considered beyond odds.
