Part-B My Rising story
From a Nobody I am now an aspiring future business leader, this is my story, I still remember myself sitting in the corner of a class with no ambitions or friends just living an ignorant mechanical life. From getting worst grades to being the most avoided student in the class, I have faced it all. A single conversation with my childhood classmates changed it all, when I asked them to include me in the game, they told I was dumb. This incident sparked the fire inside my heart, from there I started asking myself “Who do I want to be in my future?” Though I didn’t have an answer then but I knew what needs to done from there. I started concentrating on myself from class 8, where I started to rise up in academics, I wasn’t the dumb kid in class anymore. I became the teacher’s favorite and lots of people started approaching me. I started living the life of a topper which I found was my cup of tea. After getting into college I was put with more like minded individuals who knew what they wanted in life, whereas me I didn’t know what I wanted to be in future. I knew I had to do something more different, I threw myself in all competitions from arts to various academic contests, I started exploring all my strengths and weakness. I won in few and lost in many but that didn’t deter my spirit, in fact each failure served as fuel to my fire. I won in a corporate contest and got the first pre-placement offer in my college, this was my breakthrough I needed the most, I felt alive then. Later after academics and moving into job, I still felt the desire to do something more. I started knowing the real world and the business which drives its economy. That’s where I found the answer to what I what I wanted to be- “A business leader”. Throughout this journey of mine I made sure whatever I did, it always portrayed inspiration to my peers, juniors and the people around me. Now here I am doing my MBA in IIT Kharagpur, a step closer to my ambition.
