Why Aditya Birla Group is a big part of my life ?
Sometimes walking down my memory lane I wander of the roads I have traveled so far, the strong foundation of the pillars of my home, and the ones - my parents who laid them, whose not only values and ethics but personality and attire has influenced me so far in my life. And one day I realized that so much that is part of my life has been part of a single roof. Aditya Birla Ultratech cement is the base of most of the roads I traveled and laid the foundation of the strong pillars of my home. From Peter England to Louis Phillipe, my father’s attire has inspired me that how the hard work pays off and how you can rise from the ground level to the elite’s club. From the shopping spree I had with my the sister at Forever 21, to buying shirts with my brother at one of his favorite brands Mufti, and of course the salwar suits and kurtis for my mother at pantaloons, Aditya Birla Group has always been a part of my life, everybody’s. Fighting for the delicious food cooked by my mother wrapped up in freshwrapp during my school lunch hours, to the long hour talk over my idea network when away from home during my graduation year, to making my parents proud by gifting them health insurance plans for their secure future, Aditya Birla Group has always been there for us. The roots of it foundation goes back to the time before India’s independence. It has immensely contributed to India’s growth in various sectors by launching its own brand and bringing under others quality brand under its roof in India. It has not only contributed to our economy but also contributed to the social development to our country by contributing in developing its basic infrastructure from its brand such as Birla Carbon, Ultratech Cement, Hindalco Everlast aluminum plant and contributing immensely for rural development and thus providing us enough employment opportunities, which it will continue to do so. I am sure it will continue making our lives better in future too.
How I have overcome the challenges to achieve my goals ?
From performing well at academics till secondary education to becoming an average student during higher secondary education and my B.tech years made my self-confidence lower day by day. I always feared not that I will not able to cope up with my fellow classmates and do well in life. Day by day not able to perform well at academics made my self-confidence lower. The fear of ending up at an average job, leading an average life had taken over my mind. But finally after completion of my B.tech, when I finally joined the training program of the company where I was placed, not succumbing to my fears I worked hard and scored well again my fellow mates. I did realize may be sometimes I push myself too hard following trends instead of pursuing my own interest and due to that I am not able to put the amount of hard work I should have put, thus not performing up to the mark and developing the feeling of inferiority as compared to others. Finally being able to better again in life and my job, the constant appraisal that I got from my team mates and manager, I finally decided to pursue my dream of higher studies. I did work hard in and put all my efforts and zeal I did well in the entrance test. But that was not the end, I know my academics records were not great and I still would be behind the fellows I would be competing with. But this time not giving up on my fears I decided to focus on my interviews and put my heart into it. And yes finally I did land into a prestigious college that made me more confident and inspired me further that whatever be the past, now I have the chance to prove myself again with this new phase of life.
