Aditya Birla Group is not big in my life, it’s huge. Well they say, that a jack of all trades is master of none. But, what if I say, ABG is? What if I say, that it has beat the odds and overcome an old proverbial concept(or misconcept?)?

I have been an idea user for the last five years. Where I live, Peter England and Allen Solly are two of the biggest clothing brands. Our home is built on the foundations of ultratech cement. These are all very essential things, and these does not even amount to half the things Aditya Birla Group is associated with.Yes, all these essentials are provided to us  by Aditya Birla Group. Since its foundation in 1857, It has only provided excellence. It jointly owns one of the biggest cellular service in India. The fashion alternatives provided by AGB is astounding. Construction of buildings, roads almost always brings about in mind ultratech cement. A global leader in Alluminium through Hindalco, it caters to numerous amount of products we use day in day out. The Dynamic propositions that ABG brings into the table from carbon production to providing financial services that my father uses just shows how much the company has evolved throughout.

In today’s world, not a lot of companies can be this dynamic. The competition still exists, but Aditya Birla Groups’s annual revenue of 44 bn dollar revenue just shows that it has just mastered the skill of catering to it’s customers, a proud one of which, is myself.

If they can, why can’t I?

Aditya Birla Group has the third largest conglomerate of India. Founded back in 1857, It has fought its way to a position that motivates today’s young generation to dream big. But what is it about Aditya Birla Group that helped it keep its boat steady and strong for so long. And of course, it’s the result of the drive of the people who works consistently for improvement. ABG has gone through phases of confusion and had to adapt and stands as a testament to the fact that Rome was not built in a day.

The idea of learning new things have always eluded me. From an early stage I had interest in music but I never had the interest in learning an instrument. It was during my 1st year of graduation that I heard my seniors play a piece of fusion of folk and western music and somehow that rendition did something strange to me that can’t be described in words. I immediately had learn the guitar. But there were challenges. The pressure of classes were a lot. Learning an instrument this late, too was suggested a bad idea. But somehow the passion prevailed. Through the mockery and doubt, I could balance my boat. After first few days hell, the process started being enjoyable. With it, started the habits I needed, such as waking up early for practice, increasing concentration and the belief that there is no such thing called too late and sticking to something you love always works.

Today,I am nowhere near a decent guitar player, but my experiment has motivated me to belief that even if it takes times, integrity, commitment and Passion helps us sail through. The story of ABG also proves the same thing.
