Life is like a roller coaster that give you moments of joy and sadness both necessary to understand the worth of the other. My life is not any different from that of the others out there struggling to make a mark for themselves. I believe that a person's age should not be decided based on biology buy on the basis of his experience. Biologically I am 25 Years of age but going by the things I have seen in life so far you can add another 5 years to that number.
I was born in a middle-class family with loving parents and Grand-Parents, Family is one’s source of strength but if something wrong happens it becomes your weakness. In 2012 when I was on the cusp of entering a new world and witness the society closely with graduation being my platform like all others, I was also preparing to join the list of the few who would be known as the brightest brains. I always knew that I had the potential to join that clan but then came a shocker, my father was diagnosed with leukaemia. It was a setback that affected me a lot but I had to come out of it, though I couldn’t get what I deserved I chose another path and won laurels over there. After my graduation in engineering I was a Gold medalist and scholar from my university ready to face the corporate word but life had other plans. I wanted to join a Public sector enterprise and also kept an option of joining the engineering services for which I prepared day and night. I got the fruit of the hard-work with the clearance of both the tests but on the day of the interview I was not in by best form. By this time, I had already spent 2 years’ time post-graduation and could not see any other way. Again, I pulled myself up and prepared for something I had never thought of doing MBA. I always despised the idea of engineers going for a management degree but this is what life is, sometimes you have to expect the unexpected. With 3 months preparation I cleared the CAT exam and got admission in one of the reputed management institute but life was not over yet. With new domain came a new challenge of managing the subjects which I had no idea of but I did that with flying colors.
A few lessons that my journey so far in life has taught me are, always live in the present and never worry about the future because only the efforts we make now will reap a benefit in the future and always keep your options open. Life never ends if you don't get what you expect, if one door closes another is right there for you to open only thing we have to do is look around.
