Aditya Birla Group conglomerate has been a part of my life at many stages. The closet & most important of the stage was my Journey to B-school & today I am a part of top B-school in the country Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB).
Allen Solly one of the subsidiaries in Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited is a well-known brand for its quality & Royal outlook. As I had just graduated & competing with people with much more experience than me & therefore, I needed to bring my best. I had my first Allen Solly Suit with me which gave me the personality that an MBA Student should have & self-confidence which a MBA student should have.
Wearing it I was feeling strong, feeling like I could achieve all my goals. My parents were proud of me as they also felt that I had really grown up & now I can take care of myself. The Suit did make me feel a lot different than normal & an increase in level of confidence that yes, I can do it.
Besides that, Louis Philippe is another brand that has a significant part. During my Sister’s wedding I had bought my new formal clothes from there. The brand has a number of types of clothing’s & each one will catch your heart. Aditya Birla in my thinking has brands that any person will find unbeatable at this stage & a brand with best quality in any type of product it makes.
A Way of Growth
Challenges are a part of life. But to move ahead we have to keep overcoming them. I was an introvert during my school days as well my graduation years. Later I decided to join a B-School & that is when I decided that I needed to start speaking up. If I don’t change myself, I can’t reach my goals, I need to improve myself constantly to rise above others.
I started grabbing opportunities of public speaking whenever I could. Every opportunity that came, I started defeating fear inside me & encouraged myself more & more. People around me also saw the change in me & were supportive as well guided me that what more could I do.
That one challenge which I could over come gave me confidence to take up more & create a better personality & develop a strong character. After that it was quite easy for me to get involved in activities & engage with new people. I could express my thoughts clearly & stopped keeping things in my heart. We keep growing but if we don’t go beyond our comfort that growth will be very limited. I learnt that having a broader vision was now a necessity & been different than others was the priority for me.
Today being in B-School I remember the things that I thought I could never do & laugh about it. Now I am not afraid to take up difficult task but I try harder to achieve them. It’s all about the one time till you cross your limits to achieve something better & after that you yourself become the reason of greatness you achieve.
