Dear diary,
After carrying out late night research on the gigantic Aditya Birla Group, the 6 AM alarm failed to wake me up. My mother switched off the fan, an old-school but successful technique to wake me up! I stare at the fan switch and thoughts started pumping in my brain! I realized Epotec has a huge contribution to bringing the electricity to my home and to this fan. I stepped out of my bed and reach out to the window to watch the rising sun which reminds me of the ABG logo. To my surprise, the aluminum window frame badged Eternia! Then I went to the bathroom to get ready for my office. As soon as I turned on the tap, the water reminds of chlorides used to treat this water can be of ABCTL. I looked around to find all soaps and detergents lying in my bathroom might consist of chemicals manufactured by ABTCL. Even the pipes and fittings seemed to have a glimpse of ABCTL! This triggered my mind and I decided to evaluate the presence of this organization in my life.
I got ready for my office, wearing a formal shirt by Peter England and trousers by Allen Solly. While having breakfast I realized that the cheese on my bread must have been made using Corino and the bread might have puffed using Delice. A retailer might have used Multi-5 to increase the shelf-life of the apple that I was eating. I asked my mother to pack my lunch box and I saw her using Freshwrapp aluminum foil to keep rotis fresh for lunch. I popped the phone in my pocket and felt the presence of aluminum by Hindalco and carbon material in my phone can be of Aditya Birla Carbons. I put my leather wallet and wore my leather shoes thinking the contribution of ABTCL in the leather industry.
I saw my black bike and thought of Aditya Birla Group’s contribution to making the body, tyres, and components of the bike. I got out of my building gate, looking up and waving a bye to my mother. I saw my building that might be made using UltraTech cement, aluminum, and composite materials like CeTePox, all from the house of Aditya Birla Group. I got on a smooth highway, may be built by UltraTech concrete, towards my office. It’s my daily routine to pick up a friend of mine from her place as we work together in the same office. I saw her in a beautiful outfit which labeled Forever21. We drove to our office.
It was lunch time and I was eager as mother has packed chicken for lunch. The chicken might have been processed using Gusto, as it smells fresh and healthy. I dropped her and reached reach home. It was smelling delicious as mother cooked fish curry, which reminded me of Pearl. I enjoyed the dish with a can of beer, not to mention where the aluminum of the can and sulfites in the beer came from.
The whole day I was analyzing how Aditya Birla Group is integrated into my daily life. It is omnipresent, directly or in some other way, in every product that I use or that I consume. Had I not done research, I wouldn’t have realized the depth to which the organization is shaping up my life. The presence of this organization is significantly massive.
I think this diary page should be re-titled to “A typical day of mine in ABG’s eco-system!”
