Part A

Whenever I think of a change that an organization can bring and would have impacted not only the nation but also the world, one name that flashes in my mind is Aditya Birla Group. The name in itself encompasses a colossal gamut of companies such as Grasim, Hindalco

UltraTech Cement, Vodafone Idea Ltd which is the largest telecom service provider in the country, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Aditya Birla Capital. It is quite fascinating to know how a journey started in 1857 from Birla haveli has transformed millions of lives of people it had worked with and is presently being a part of a family which has more than 120,000 members from more than 35 countries.

The most exciting aspect was unknowingly how Aditya Birla was a part of my family well before I was a part of my own family as my father used to wear and gift the Grasim suitings on family functions and other corporate functions and how the first gift that I received from brother-in-law was Peter England Shirts. I still remember how fond I was of buying jeans and T-shirts from pantaloons and how often I used to visit along with my nephew to the More store to get him to buy the things as the only store name he used to know more. Somewhere or the other, the company was not only a part of the people’s lives but also the happiness and emotions of the family.

Similarly, the conglomerate has extended its help in every field such as in the field of technology where they had the prestigious BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa, and Dubai campus. I was also quite fortunate to be a part of the Birla family as I graduated from BIT Mesra, a college whose chairman is C.K Birla. Aditya Birla Group (ABG) has also impacted the health care system of the people by organizing more than 5000 free medical camps yearly in rural India. It has provided free education to more than 20000 students in over 56 schools. It considers social vision is an integral part of the business vision every year Aditya Birla group reaches  7 million people to improve their quality of life. ABG(Aditya Birla Group) has been a change that has impacted the lives of millions of people.

Part B

NEVER GIVE UP

I have been a person who has "Never Give Up" attitude in whatever difficulty or hardship that I have faced. Since my childhood, I was a person who was striving for excellence in whatever field I want to be. I had in my life faced not a single hardship, but many at times Life presented me a hardship one after the another.

One of the barriers that I also encountered in my life was nervousness in approaching the people and meeting them or addressing a huge gathering. As I was more of an introvert personality and overcoming a challenge which was more of an internal and was an uphill task because at many times out of anxiety or nervous I used to stammer or speak anything. Later I realized that the fear couldn’t be overcome in a single day. Instead, it is a process which would need more of an optimistic attitude and be hopeful of overcoming any challenge as I had don’t give up perspective which later resulted from me in overcoming the fear of interacting with the people and nervousness in addressing the gatherings. Then I handled many vital positions in my life academically, which involved in interacting with different kinds of people, and I was also part of PSF(Public Speaking Forum) and other activities.

One of them was when I started my graduation at a place, where the only thing I knew was that it was the place from where Mahendra Singh Dhoni had come. Getting settled to a new environment was a tough task, where I was getting ill frequently, and that affected my performance in academics, and I had a backlog in one of the subjects. Later I was diagnosed with Appendicitis, and for which I had to undergo a surgery. This time it looked like the path ahead would be a tougher one where I had not only to manage the academics, but my health as well for which I started taking care of my health and simultaneously started working on my weak areas in academics. This later got resulted in my better performances and awarded scholarship as well for three semesters for securing high grades.

Similarly, the challenges that I have faced has enriched me with experiences which have made me in changing my perceptions, my view; my personality has changed which had led me to be an optimistic person and bringing out a different character which has helped me to achieve the ambitions anything that I had so far.
