- Incident 1: When I graduated back in 2015, I went to an Allen Solly store to buy a suit for my farewell ceremony. Why Allen Solly? Because it is one of the famous international brands. I had no idea at that time that it was acquired by ABG. The staff members were very co-operative and the collections were awesome. I chose from one of their new arrivals and proceeded to the billing counter. I observed something which caught my attention - ADITYA BIRLA GROUP placards placed on every billing counter. I was mystified and my hands were on google. I found that Allen Solly which is originally an international brand was acquired by ABG in 2001. Not only Allen Solly but other brands such as Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Peter England are part of Madura Fashion And Lifestyle which is a division of Aditya Birla. This gave me a sense of pride that how far Indian companies have acquired a global presence and recognition.
- Incident 2: In 2016, my company relocated me to Pune from Chennai. It was a new city and a new beginning for me and due to the sudden shift of environmental conditions I was not keeping well at that time, so I searched for some of the best hospitals nearby. I was happy to see Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital first on the list. Without a second thought, I went to the hospital. Doctors had a great hold of knowledge. The hospital was well equipped for the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical cases. Rather than treat treating me symptomatically, they asked detailed history, carried out a thorough examination. I was diagnosed and treated well. I was satisfied by their service and once again my belief in ABG was restored.
