Aditya Birla Group is not a company, it is a emotion which has connected so many people and changed the lives of so many people be it using the telecom services or the fashion company. The roots of the company are tightly holding the lives of the people now but the foundation of the company goes way back to 1857, which was laid by Shiv Narayan Birla in a small village.
I am also one of those people whose life is surrounded by Aditya Birla Group. Starting from the cement used in my house to the clothes I wear, Aditya Birla Group definitely had a impact in my life. The first network I used in my life was Idea which definitely gave a experience worth remembering. Most of the clothes I wear are generally from the brands which come under Aditya Birla Group such as Peter England, Louis Phillipe. Whenever my mother wants to buy clothes, there is only one name which always came out of her mouth – PANTALOONS, which is not difficult to find at all. Being the brand which I wear and the brand which I use to connect to any person, I think it has left enough impact in my life. The company is now leading the market in every field be it carbon black, be it textile business or be it financial services. I think there is not a single day on which I do not get in touch with the product of the company. So yes I can proudly say that ABG is something which is big in my life.
CHALLENGES
Every person has a different story which motivated him to his ambition. Everyone face challenges in his life and overcome those challenges. Life is a mix of ups and downs and like a bitter sweet juice which we have to drink. My story is also not different but I think it is worth sharing.
During the last year of my graduation, A mishap took place. I was hit by a running car due to which the bones of both my legs were crushed and I was bed ridden for at least 6 months.
This accident struck me like a lightning. I lost my job after this accident even after requesting for extension. I started feeling depressed and alone. But after wasting so many days my mother gave me life learning lesson of how we should never give up. I restored all my strength and started my preparation for CAT exam which I always dreamt of and started doing home based work side by side. I didn’t waste a single day of my life. I just kept working on my goal without any distraction and on the D-Day I did my best. I got at par percentile to get into the B-School of my dreams.
The main learning of my story was to never loose whatever may be the reason. Just think on your dreams and start working for it without thinking about anything else.
