Aditya Birla Group is an Indian conglomerate that has a thriving presence in 34 countries and a robust workforce of around 120,000 employees. The workforce is diverse as it consists of more than 42 nationalities. Also, the gamut of products and services they provide is immense. This gargantuan expanse makes it almost impossible for us as consumers to miss any contribution the company has made in our lives. It is a matter of great pride for us Indians to relate with a brand that has such an amazing legacy.
As I live in Mumbai, I know how important it is to have good infrastructure. And one such example of great infrastructure is the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. It has reduced the travel time of 60 to 90 minutes between the suburbs of Mumbai and Southern Mumbai to under 10 minutes. It used to be a nightmare if one had to travel between this part of the city. Another premium Aditya Birla brand that has had an impact on me by changing my fashion sense is Louis Philippe. The clothes and the shoes that I have bought from here have been of top-notch quality. They lasted for more than five years to say the least. Moreover, they follow most of the current market trends and make it easier to shop for smart business formals and trendy casuals. Whenever I wear a Louis Philippe product, I know I can command attention. It makes me feel elegant.
However, the grandiose of an organization is not restricted by the brands it possesses or its financial status. There are many other factors like what service it does to the society, how it grooms budding talent, etc. which add to an organization’s magnanimity. The leaders who bring about this impact strive hard to do so irrespective of the challenges they face in their daily life.
It is said, if you can win over your mind, you can win over the whole world. One such challenge that I overcame to achieve my ambition was my mother’s demise. It was the summer of April 2012 when she passed away and I was in my 2nd year of engineering. As I was on my quest to gain domain knowledge, back then it was my spiritual knowledge that cradled me. This journey made me immensely grateful to our Indian culture for imparting the knowledge of truth. The stability I found through the practice of yoga and meditation during my testing times was unparalleled. It is what made me deal with the situation with ease and helped me complete my engineering with minimum difficulty. My closest family members, my aunt and my father, were relieved that I could handle a grave situation like this so comfortably. It in fact gave them the strength and courage to go through this unlikely event. This incident in my life will always play a huge role and will be my teacher forever.
