In a planet where reforms are always an unfinished journey with a stunning impact, the spot light is on Aditya Birla group,  for having transformed into the largest multinational conglomerate In the last  two decades.

Aditya Birla Group, being the first Indian based company that set the Indian business in the global arena, has been successful in producing  some of the best brands in 14 major Industries. Many among these brands hold a special place in my heart and have helped to ease out my life on a daily basis. The major success of the brands lie in the fact that it has definitely stayed true to the values and ideals proposed by the organisation.

Van Heusen Women and Allen Solly Women helped me overcome a big challenge of not being able to find a formal attire by providing an exclusive range of very comfortable formal clothes for Women. Aditya Birla fashion and lifestyle which is one of the largest fashion apparel company , has provided me, a easy access to global fashion wear and accessories. These fashion apparels stand a class apart and helps instill in me a sense of exuberance and confidence.

This organisation has indirectly helped to provide a better society and a country to live in by transforming the lives of millions of people in over 5000 villages through the Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development.

A challenge faced and how I overcame it

I, like many, do dream about the future and have an ambition in life to transform the way of doing work by making it easy and useful to people. Being able to change the world through technology support has been my dream since school days.  A very recent example of a challenge faced in bringing about this transformation was faced during my internship.

I had the opportunity to work with a big multinational company in its corporate finance function. During my tenure in the organisation there was a requirement to get data from the various groups within the function and to bring about a transformation in the functioning of the business through automation. However, challenges arose in the latter half to convince the team and also a few local leadership members of replacing the legacy processes and to enable the shift towards using automated processes.

Members were accustomed to the old style of working and were reluctant in accepting the transformed business methods. In order to ensure that the transformation journey continues and to see this project being accepted and implemented successfully, I had to organise a meeting with the stakeholders explaining to them the need and the purpose of  implementing this project and the importance of doing it right away, which would ensure that the organisation is not lagging in the industry and is leading its competitors.

This meeting did enable the team to understand the benefits of the change and the project implementation thus began.
