PART A

I fondly remember those days, I was a 8 year old then and we were building our new house and I was super excited. I wanted a marble flooring, but dad said a strict No. Then I saw this ad on our newly brought colour TV, a white cement, I never knew cement existed that too in white. I literally cried, agreed do all my homework, finish my lunch and everything what my parents said to have a white cement flooring. And my father agreed. I remember how proudly I explained to my friends of our white floor. It Indeed gave a unique look to our house. That’s how I was Introduced to Aditya Birla.

Years passed and being living in a small town I was not exposed to clothing Brands until I was in my 10th. Then this Peter England store opened in our vicinity. Off course I thought it to be a English Brand but soon I came to know its an ABG product. I always have loved its quality and knowing it being an Indian Brand made me feel proud. Even now when I see a PE store I make sure to ask the GK question with whom I am with.

Thinking of Idea, the thing first come to my mind is that their funny creative ad and off course Abhishek Bachhan. Their TVC for saving trees then the IIN, all played as a timeline of my life. Aditya Birla has always been a part of our life, Sometimes we can see them and sometimes they keep on going around us. Building a India, Introducing it to the world.

PART B

MY LIFE SO FAR

An Ordinary middle class family of 4, life has always been on my side, my Parents being school Teachers always understood what I wanted and never gave me any kind of pressure. My school and Intermediate was a smooth sailing, securing good marks all the way keeping parents and most importantly the relatives happy. I was in a small town till then and was unaware of the outside competitive world.

I decided to come to the capital Bhubaneswar and drop a year for my Medical Preparation. That’s when I realised I was living in a well. I could not handle the pressure and manage my time table. I went to the backfoot, could not clear NEET. My parents never said anything to me but deep down I knew they were disappointed.

My father decided to sell some land we own to pay for the Private college so that I could pursue my career in MBBS. That’s when It all changed me. I could see what I am and what I wanted to.  I managed to crack OUAT(BSc Ag) and decided not to sell everything that my parents earned all throughout their life. My parents has always given me what I wanted and now its time that I take some responsibility.

As of now, I have successfully graduated and now enjoying my MBA here in XIMB. I decided to take a loan in my name to fund my studies. I see myself as a much confident person. Who can handle responsibilities and also looking forward for a great career ahead. Overall its been a great life for me. And whatever happened has happened for the good.
